2025 ALASKAN SHRIMP

Welcome to our Alaskan Shrimp experience.  At NMFM we are ever looking for new seafood experiences to offer to our friends. These shrimp (Sidestripes - Pandalopsis dispar) are sweet in flavor, and delicate in texture. They have a vegetarian diet of kelp and seaweed which removes any of the fishy taste.  These shrimp are coming straight from Captain Heather who maintains their peak freshness and sashimi grade by getting them to their plate freezer within an hour of bringing them onboard and flash freeze them down to -30 degrees. They are then glazed in salted water to keep the freezer air off of them. The glaze also extends their freezer life to a year.  Two prices indicates heads on or heads off, but we highly recommend the heads on.  Deheading shrimp is super easy and fast and saves a handling step.  From Captain Heathers boat, direct to Air Alaska, and we pick them up from Newark Airport.  Can't beat that.
